Fines and Penalties

To avoid fines renew your loans before the due date. Students incur fines for overdue items at the following rates:

  • All collections (excluding on campus) - $1 per day
  • On campus - $2 per day

Students with outstanding fines may have studio time and access to other practical resources restricted. If fines remain outstanding following course completion, exam results, certificates and other awards will not be issued.

Students will be charged at current retail prices plus a $30 fine, for any items that remain outstanding from the library for more than three weeks.
